The Pulenta family has been making wine in Argentina for three generations. The sons of winemaker Antonio Pulenta and descendents of Italian immigrants, Eduardo and Hugo Pulenta, run the estate today.

The tradition, knowledge, and experience of the family acquired over more than 100 years since the arrival of Angelo Polenta and Palmina Spinssanti to Argentina in 1902, live on today in Pulenta Estate.

The fruit for the estate Chardonnay is only from Pulenta’s own vineyards. The manual harvest and careful selection of only the best fruit is followed by the alcoholic fermentation (50% in temperature-controlled stainless steel and 50% in French oak barrels).

The wine in wood then undergoes the malolactic fermentation whilst that in steel does not. After blending of the two component parts the wine is aged for further 10 months in new French oak barrels.

Lemon-yellow with bright green hues, the nose has aromas mainly of tropical fruits typical of the Chardonnay. The palate is dry, soft and creamy with ripe fruit and subtle oak balanced by fresh acidity.
