Cristom Vineyards was founded in the early 1990’s by Paul & Eileen Gerrie. Today the estate is run by their son Tom and daughter Christine with Steve Doerner the chief winemaker.

The four estate Pinot Noir vineyards – Eileen, Jessie, Louise and Marjorie, named after Gerrie family matriarchs – each possess natural variances in soil, elevation and aspect.

The Mount Jefferson Cuvée is named after the 2nd-tallest peak in all of Oregon; the mountain itself was named in honour of President Thomas Jefferson.

Made from a blend of fruit from each of the estate vineyards, the wine has lovely red and black fruit aromas and smokey notes on the nose. The palate is full and rounded with layers of ripe black and red fruit flavours mixed with spice and hints of classic Pinot “forest floor”.
