Château Pesquié is a family domaine located at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Although the AOC Côtes du Ventoux is a relatively new appellation, it was not created until 1973, there is evidence of vine cultivation at Château Pesquié that dates back two thousand years.
Today the estate is run by Alexandre and Frédéric Chaudière the third generation of the family to be winemakers.
The vineyards for the Terrasses Rosé are on limestone and clay slopes at about 300m altitude.
Cinsault (50%) – Grenache (40%) – Syrah (10%) the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and sees no wood.
A very pale rosé, the nose has notes of red berries and citrus fruits, flavours that carry through to the dry and elegant palate.
